NSBA has been an advocate for the interests of small-business owners throughout the country since its inception in 1937. The organization, which reaches more than 150,000 small-business owners, is the oldest small-business advocacy organization in the United States.

NSBA members testify before Congress and meet with White House and congressional officials as well as federal regulators to ensure that federal policy protects and enhances the rights and freedoms of small business.

NSBA will be working diligently to protect small-business owners against unfair or aggressive IRS tactics designed to increase tax revenue.
